Deprem uzman\u0131 Prof. Dr. Okan T\u00fcys\u00fcz, Edirne Belediyesi Atat\u00fcrk K\u00fclt\u00fcr Merkezi’nde d\u00fczenlenen “T\u00fcrkiye ve Edirne Depremselli\u011fi” konulu konferansta, T\u00fcrkiye’nin deprem ku\u015fa\u011f\u0131nda olan bir \u00fclke oldu\u011funa dikkati \u00e7ekti.<\/p>\n

Marmara’da meydana gelen depremlerin Osmanl\u0131, Bizans ve Roma d\u00f6nemlerine ait tarihi kay\u0131tlarda yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 anlatan T\u00fcys\u00fcz, “Ge\u00e7mi\u015fte olmu\u015f mu? Olmu\u015f. Gelecekte olur mu? Gelecekte olaca\u011f\u0131na da kesin diyebiliriz.” dedi.<\/p>\n
T\u00fcys\u00fcz, \u0130stanbul’da hissedilen depremler incelendi\u011finde Bizans d\u00f6neminde 49, Osmanl\u0131 d\u00f6neminde ise 52 depremin kay\u0131tlara ge\u00e7ti\u011fini, bunlar\u0131n az ya da \u00e7ok hasar olu\u015fturdu\u011funu kaydetti.<\/p>\n

Bilimsel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n bu beklentiyi do\u011frulad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ifade eden T\u00fcys\u00fcz, “\u00d6zellikle 7’nin \u00fczerine \u00e7\u0131kabilecek bir deprem olas\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 var. Bug\u00fcn baz\u0131 arkada\u015flar ‘Deprem olmayacak.’ deseler de bunlar\u0131n yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 bu g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fe altl\u0131k olu\u015fturabilecek herhangi bir bilimsel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma maalesef bulunmamaktad\u0131r.” diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n
Bu depremlerin da\u011f\u0131l\u0131m\u0131na bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda \u00f6zellikle Kuzey Anadolu Fay\u0131 \u00fczerinde Ganos segmentinde yo\u011funla\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 vurgulayan T\u00fcys\u00fcz, Marmara’da bug\u00fcn i\u00e7in ciddi bir deprem beklentisi bulundu\u011funu dile getirdi.<\/p>\n

T\u00fcys\u00fcz, 1509 ve 1766 depremlerinin meydana geldi\u011fi b\u00f6lgede yeniden bir depremin ya\u015fanaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 vurgulayarak, “Olas\u0131 en b\u00fcy\u00fck deprem 7,2-7,3 b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde olabilir. Daha k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck depremler de ya\u015fanabilir ancak 7 b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcndeki deprem olas\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 her zaman varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 koruyor.” ifadelerini kulland\u0131.<\/p>\n
Depremlere kar\u015f\u0131 tedbirlerin art\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 gerekti\u011fini kaydeden T\u00fcys\u00fcz, T\u00fcrkiye’de 24 il, 101 il\u00e7e ve 550 k\u00f6y\u00fcn merkezi fay \u00fczerinde yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirtti. T\u00fcys\u00fcz, olas\u0131 Marmara depreminde Edirne’nin de g\u00fcney kesimlerinin etkilenece\u011fini bildirdi.<\/p>\n
