Devrilen motosikletten yola savrulan Lafatan, yaraland\u0131. \u0130hbarla b\u00f6lgeye sa\u011fl\u0131k ekipleri sevk edildi. Ambulansla kald\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 hastanede tedaviye al\u0131nan Lafatan, doktorlar\u0131n t\u00fcm m\u00fcdahalelerine ra\u011fmen sabaha kar\u015f\u0131 ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131 yitirdi. Lafatan&#8217;\u0131n cenazesi, otopsinin ard\u0131ndan yak\u0131nlar\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan teslim al\u0131n\u0131p, Tarsus G\u00fcney Mezarl\u0131\u011f\u0131&#8217;na getirildi. Cenazede, Lafatan&#8217;\u0131n bekar olmas\u0131 nedeniyle ailenin gelene\u011fi gere\u011fi, d\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn gibi davul ve zurna \u00e7al\u0131nd\u0131.
